RING ENTRANCE
Entrance Description (250 words max): The lights in the arena go out, causing the usual hysteria from the crowd. After a few seconds, Peter Vaughn's face appears on the big tron, darkly smirking down at the fans.
"This Time... It's Different."
After Vaughn finishes speaking, he begins to laugh, with little humor in his voice. His laughter carries on as the Tron video overtakes his image, beginning with "This Time It's Different" by Evans Blue. Sparks begin to erupt around the stage, showering nearby fans who feel like they're a little too close to the action. As the fireworks die down, two figures appear through the smoke and haze. Peter Vaughn walks forward first, carrying his barbed-wire broomstick, followed by his agent, Chronic Chris Page. CCP stays behind Vaughn, smiling at the reaction the wrestler is getting. They stop at the top of the ramp, surveying the hatred from the crowd. From Vaughn's reaction, you'd think they were chanting his name, as he walks down the aisle with a cocky smile, although there's no joy behind his eyes. The two make their way into the ring, heading into a corner to discuss some last-minute strategy before the chaos begins.

STORY
Biography (500 word max): Peter Vaughn once just had modest dreams for his life. Growing up poor in a broken family, he had followed his father into the family business, working as a janitor to help pay the bills. One of these job opportunities was the GCWA, a wrestling federation with a very unique owner, The Accelerator. At one weekly show, Ace fired a wrestler due to his disruptive attitude. He then called for a substitute to wrestle in the man's place, pointing over at a stunned Janitor, who had no choice but to accept or be fired himself. The match went about as well as you could expect, but it was the beginning of a new life for Peter Vaughn.
Over the next few years, Vaughn would toil at the bottom of the card, wrestling as "The Janitor" and learning the craft. Any victory he earned was labelled a major upset. Unfortunately, his willingness just to be happy and enjoy being in front of the fans handicapped his potential, and it didn't seem like he would climb any higher in pro wrestling. This would all change in 2021, when Vaughn began competing for Online Championship Wrestling. There, Ace's son, Jonathan Barrows, took Vaughn under his wing... and promptly subjected him to extreme mental torture. Vaughn would come out of this experience with a completely new mindset, helped by the fact that he no longer had full access to his emotions. In many ways, he became a sociopath.
Vaughn's newfound willingness to use violence and dirty tactics to win shocked many who used to know him. He was no longer the friendly Janitor of the wrestling business. He became the Mechanic, a man who believed that if the wrestling world wouldn’t give him the respect he sees as his due, he'd take it from them, by any means necessary. It also led to the greatest success of his career, as he would hold the OCW World Title, the XWF Universal Title, the TPW International Title, and the PWV World Title in only a few months' time.
Since then, Vaughn has been competing all over the world, looking for every opportunity to shine. Despite his recent success, he still carries a chip on his shoulder, believing that no matter what he does, he won't be respected in this business. He has since found a home at Chronic Chris Page Enterprises, working with some of the best in the world while still pursuing the greatness that he now feels he deserves. Now a five-time World Champion and the 2022 World Series of Wrestling winner, Vaughn is back to see if he can transfer some of his recent success to a new icon in the sport.
