Dredging through the forest the black boots of Samantha Voxx seemingly getting stuck in the mud with each step. She stopped and wiped her brow as the thunder and rain rage on. She is visibly upset as she finds the place she was looking for. She knocks on the door as a shadowy figure opens the door. A mysterious voice is heard speaking. “Come on in.”
Samantha walks in as she looks around the dreary hut. It was nothing like her hut. This one seemed to not be in good repair. Instead of dreams this one seemed to be filled with nightmares. She looks further as she finds the figure. “Who are you and why did you bring me here?”
The mysterious figure pulls out a cauldron from the corner.is seen shaking their head as the mysterious voice speaks again. "That is something you are not ready for Miss Voxx. You are not ready for the pain and heartache I will soon show you. For now let's just say I can be your best friend or your worst enemy."
The figure turns back to it's cauldron as it begins chanting a spell. "Cold as winter, dark as night. This is the one in which I delight. Love and pain have come and gone. This is where I sing my swan song. The day has broken, the end is nigh. Let these words resonante with the Goddess on high. Grant me this wish, allow Samantha to do well. In exchange her soul will forever live in an eternal hell."
The figure laughs as Samantha reaches out removing the hood to reveal the figure is in fact herself. The evil Samantha cackles as the real Samantha shakes her head. "No. No. It can't be. Noooooo!"
Samantha screams out as she sits straight up in her bed covered in a cold sweat. She breathes hard as she gets up and heads to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. She hears the familiar voice of her cousin, Katarina Starr. "Hey cuzzo. Why were ya screamin'? Woke me up from a good dream ya did."
Samantha has a seat in her chair in the living room. "Kat, when are you leaving? You have really become a thorn in my side."
We cut to black quickly and never get a real answer.

Croke Park
Dublin, Ireland
An aging Samantha Voxx walks through the halls. Her black dress dragging the ground as she is approached by a production assistant. "Miss Voxx you will be the third and final speaker tonight. Are you prepared?"
Samantha nods as she looks on. "Of course. I wouldn't want to mess this night up. I have my speech in the dressing room. I merely came out for a drink to calm my nerves. Honestly I never thought I'd be getting celebrated like this. Wrestling was supposed to just be for fun and now look. Here I am."
The red hair of Samantha with streaks of silver bounces with each nod of her head. She walks past the assistant and to the bar. She looks at the bartender. "Vodka tonic on the rocks please? Make it a double."
The bartender nods and fetches the drink. He slides the drink to Samantha who sips it lightly at first. She looks around the room at all the gowns and tuxedos and it hits her that they are all there for her. To honor and celebrate her career. She downs the drink and lays a one hundred dollar bill on the bar. She nods at the bartender. "Thank you. I have to go now. Rest is for you."
She rushes out as she heads back to her dressing room. She sits down and breathes for a moment. She is shocked by a voice. A voice she had not heard in years. "Hello Samantha."
Samantha turns to see her mother, whom she had not seen since she was eighteen. The now forty one year old Samantha stands there in shock. "Mom.. how did… why did…"
Her mother stands and approaches her. "Samantha you had every reason to leave home. Your father and I didn't understand your ways and we pushed you away because of it. You need to realize I am not here asking for forgiveness. I'm not here expecting some glorious reunion. I just want to come here and give you the respect and t celebrate all you have accomplished in spite of how me and your father treated you."
Samantha looks around. "Is.. is Dad here?"
Her mother's head drops. "Samantha, your father passed away a year ago. I didn't know if you would even want to know."
Samantha's eyes well with tears as she sobs lightly. Her mother puts a hand on her shoulder as she runs lightly. "Samantha if I thought you would want to know I would have told you."
Samantha nods lightly. A knock is heard at the door. Samantha opens it to reveal the production assistant again. "Miss Voxx, we will be starting soon. We need you in the auditorium."
Samantha nods. She looks at her mom. "Escort me to my seat and sit with me mom?"
Her mother takes her by the hand as the two women walk to their seats. They both have a seat as the house lights go down and an announcement is made. "Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the wrestling hall of Fame induction of Samantha Voxx. Samantha has many accolades to her name. She is a multiple time world champion. She is a World Series of Wrestling Champion. She is someone who needs no introduction. Welcome our first speaker to the stage, Miss Cara Strader."
The crowd collectively claps as Cara takes the stage. She has a sleek black mini dress on with a green scarf. She smirks as she looks around the crowd. "Well hello there. My name is Cara Strader, yes from that Strader family. When I first seen Samantha she was just another curtain jerker for the real talent. She was a rookie and I'm talking green, bruh. She was barely able to tell the difference between a wristlock and a wristwatch. There was something about her though, ya know. Like she wanted to be more than that. Like she knew she was going to be a star even when the rest of us thought she didn't have it in her. Boy were we all wrong.
I kept an eye on her as she went to Wrestleverse. I watched as she went to Level Up. She wasn't a jobber but still wasn't showing much promise. She was still on that lower echelon. She still had that gleam of hope in her eyes. Even in loss she never got down on herself. She kept fighting on and on as she snuck her way into the World Series of Wrestling and that is when I saw her come alive. 2022 was the year. Wrestling was back in the forefront of the world. Samantha got invited to the World Series among names like Jason Cashe, Raion Kido, and Peter Vaughn. She was way out of her element. Then, something remarkable happened. She started competing at a high level and she went from curtain jerker to the ultimate underdog. She had become a role model out of nowhere."
The camera pans to show Samantha who is laughing and nodding. Cara continues. "There came a time when I kept doubting but as the event went on I thought wow she might do this. She finally won it all. She did what it took. She persevered when people counted her out and now look at where we are at."
The people in attendance clap more as Cara continues on. “So let’s raise a toast to the most bad ass witch to ever grace a wrestling ring. Miss Samantha Voxx! Blessed be!”
Samantha claps hard as she nods at Cara. Cara walks over and hugs Samantha. The announcer voice comes over the PA system. “We will now take a small break. Please enjoy the catering if you haven’t already. Samantha walks out to the lobby as she breathes a bit. A familiar voice is heard. “Hey there cuzzo!”
Samantha’s head falls back as she lets out a sigh. She puts on a fake smile and turns around. “Hey Katarina. How ya been?”
Katarina smiles as her ruby red lips seemingly light up her pale face. She applauds very slowly. “You know that I am the reason you are here right? I lit a fire under your witchy ass and made you want to succeed when I showed up in your dreams!”
Samantha nods softly. “Wait until you hear my speech. You will be… delighted.”
The announcer’s voice is heard again as everyone listens up. “Ladies and Gentlemen, please return to your seats. Our next speaker will take the stage in ten minutes. Again, our next speaker will take the stage in ten minutes.”
The spectators all begin filing in as Samantha Voxx walks in last admiring those in attendance. She makes her way to her seat. The announcer comes over the intercom again. “Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome your next speaker, “The Nightmare Angel” Chelsea Skye.”
Chelsea walks out as she looks out at the crowd. “HELLO DUBLIN!”
She yells into the microphone as it feedbacks a bit. She giggles as she speaks in a normal tone. “Sorry about that. Krawling Khaos and Sadistick Ragecution are currently touring Europe on our twenty year reunion! I am so used to metal fans and now we are here for a different reason. We are here to celebrate the sexy witch in the front row. Put a spotlight on her!”
The light illuminates Samantha as she waves at the crowd. Chelsea continues. “When I first met Sam, she was not anything special in the ring or out. She was forgettable in all honesty. Cara summed that up so I am not gonna rehash it all. I don’t want to bore you like an Allen Chaney stand up set. Oh sorry, this isn’t a roast my bad. The material just writes itself.”
Chelsea laughs again as the fans clap lightly. The camera pans to Allen Chaney who is laughing right along with the crowd. “Hey I don’t take myself seriously either. That was a good one Miss Skye!”
Chelsea gives a devil horn hand gesture as she keeps speaking. “The more I watched Samantha the more I saw the flame in her eyes. I saw a renewed love for this business. She got serious and began showing a fire for the wrestling game. She began winning and it just felt oh so right. Wrestling put her on the edge of orgasm every time she stepped between the ropes and it was everything to her. WGWF is where she found her footing along with the World Series of Wrestling. She took both by storm. She fucked the world in a heartbeat. I watched her change from a witch who didn’t show off her powers to one who would constantly remind us of how powerful she is. She held titles on all levels everywhere she went after 2022. She became a fucking monster! The more people tried to put her down the stronger she became. She proved me and everyone else wrong. She became an influence on women everywhere. She was proof that you can truly do anything you want in life. She was the living embodiment of started from the bottom, now I’m here. Yes, Samantha. You are here and we are here to honor you and your legacy tonight!”
The fans applaud as another intermission begins. In the lobby Chelsea Sky walks up to Samantha Voxx, a young lady in tow. Chelsea taps Samantha on the shoulder. Samantha smiles as she hugs Chelsea. “Thank you for your kind words Chelsea. I am glad I was able to touch your life as you have touched mine. You, too, are an inspiration to many. How is the school going?”
Chelsea smiles as she looks at the young woman behind her. “Nightmare Future Academy is going very well. We just had our first graduation. This is my niece, Nattie. She was one of our graduates. I brought her here to meet you. You are one of her idols in this business and in the world.”
Samantha extends a hand slowly. Chelsea nods at Nattie as Nattie takes Samantha’s hand and shakes it, a huge smile filling her face and lighting up the room. She speaks to Samantha. “Miss Voxx, you have shown that regardless of how different you are, you can always live your dreams. You and Aunt Chelsea have made this all worth it and made it happen for me. You are part of my strength.”
Samantha smiles as she reaches in her purse. She pulls out a small statue. “Nattie, this is my protection. It is blessed by the Goddess herself. I want you to have it. I want you to go do great things. Show the world who Nattie truly is.”
Nattie smiles again as Chelsea looks at Samantha. “Sam, really, this is all awesome. Thank you for allowing me to be part of it. Chelsea and Samantha hug as the intermission ends and everyone files back into the auditorium. The announcer speaks again. “Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome, HARVEY MARX!”
The crowd applauds again as Harvey takes the stage. He looks at Samantha and gulps loudly as she waves her fingers a bit. “Good evening ladies and gentlemen
I stand before you tonight uncertain I'm even giving this speech under my own power. That's right folks, this sexy southpaw's strings could be being pulled by a powerful curse from tonight's guest of honor. I might have no memory of what I'm about to say and can only hope tonight is memorable for all of you.
I first met Samantha Voxx during the first World Series of Wrestling. I quickly became aware of her power in and out of the ring...and I've been looking over my shoulder ever since.
There's a magician out there who looks just like me, but his hocus pocus is just for show. Tonight we welcome a genuine witch into the Hall of Fame. She's got skills, she's got championships, and she's got an honest-to-god cauldron! To be honest this lady seriously gives me the creeps, but I respect her. I'm honored to commemorate a truly magical career.
Samantha literally at one point in Wrestleverse ripped Scuff God’s arms off! I saw it and couldn’t believe my eyes. Like I said she is creepy, she is weird, but she is a hell of an athlete and that is why we are all here. To honor the witch of the hour. Miss Samantha Voxx.”
The crowd applauses as Harvey walks off the stage and hands Samantha some flowers. He whispers to her. “Thank you for helping get me through that but you are still creepy.”
The announcer comes back on the intercom. “Ladies and Gentlemen. We thank Cara Strader, Chelsea Skye, and Harvey Marx for their words on our inductee. Tonight has been a grand gesture toward her. Now, without further ado, we welcome the 2040 inductee into the pro wrestling hall of fame, SAMANTHA VOXX!”
Samantha walks slowly up the steps and onto the stage. She approaches the microphone as she looks out emotionally at all of the people in attendance. She smiles as she begins speaking. “Tonight is about honor. Tonight is about privilege. Tonight is about following your dreams and never giving up. I may be a witch but the most magical thing right now, is seeing all of you here in attendance. It is seeing how many lives I have touched. Whether it be family like Katarina or my mother, or it be close friends like Chelsea Skye and her niece Nattie. Or whether it be respect like that of Cara Strader or Harvey Marx. You are all here for a reason and I am honored to be that reason.
For many years I stepped between these ropes and entertained many people over many companies. I let each of you down at times. I didn’t always give my all but one day fate would twist. I would enter the World Series of Wrestling. When I looked at the names listed my friend Frankie Fontaine will tell you, I got down on myself. I figured there was no way I could compete with the Shawn Warsteins and John Cables of the world. I didn’t have a recognizable name like Molly Hatchett or Dionysus. I didn’t have the sex appeal of Taurus or Vhodka Black. I entered anyway. I accepted the invitation and I did better than expected. I won the whole damn thing. I was now mentioned among the Peter Vaughns and Raion Kidos. I was now someone to look up to. I knew what I had to do.
I kept fighting. I kept making a positive impact in people’s lives. I stayed on the up. I kept growing my stock because I believed in me, I believed I could be the role model people in this world needed and here I stand, living proof, that I was right. I was right and no one can say otherwise. There are so many people who deserve this honor and many who came before me. I know without a shadow of a doubt that I have earned this. I have made it so my name is synonymous with ultimate underdog. In the beginning of 2022 I was overlooked. I was a footnote in the annals of wrestling history. I was a stepping stone for many in Revolution1 and Level Up. I never fully lived up to my potential.
That is until I realized that my cousin, whom I hadn’t seen in over ten years, was in the same company. Katarina Starr better known to the wrestling world as Cerise. She and I got back on track but it wasn’t without it’s hang ups. You see, I started astral projecting again and I kept seeing Cerise asking for help but I had no clue that she was my cousin, Kat. I kept searching for an answer and one day that answer showed up on my doorstep. She was the worst houseguest ever. She didn’t help with anything and I finally put my foot down. I asked her why she was here. She said she was here to help me succeed. I didn’t understand at the time what she meant but over the years I would realize that she helped me realize that putting my foot down was the first step to success. I finally was able to get Katarina out of my house and I realized my goals in life had changed. I no longer wanted to just wrestle for money. I wanted to wrestle for the hopes and dreams of those like me. I wanted witches everywhere to realize we aren't all hated for things we are not.
As you can see, the Samantha standing before you is not the same one who lost matches for two years straight. This Samantha is ruthless yet humble. She is aggressive yet kind. She is strong yet knows her own weaknesses. She a role model to some yet hated on by others. It is true what they say that people hate that which they do not understand. Witches everywhere are still hiding and it is simply not fair. We are people just like each and everyone of you. If you know a witch in hiding let them know it is ok. Let them know you support them. That is what we all need in life is support of those we love and care about. That brings me to my next topic.
Forgiveness. We all have had bad experiences with people in our lives. Whether it be a friend turned enemy or a family member turned stranger. That brings me to my mother. Ann Voxx. She and I had not spoken in over twenty years and she showed up tonight to help honor me. Unfortunately I didn't get to patch things up with my dad before he passed. Rest in peace dad. Can the lights shine on my mother for a moment?"
The lights shine on Ann as she waves and the audience chants "Thank you Ann"
After a few minutes of honoring her mother, Samantha continues speaking. "We all have heroes we look up to. One of my heroes gave me my start. Miss Kylie Moore the owner of Revolution1. She and Cecilia Ortiz hired me straight out of wrestling school and gave me a chance when other companies said I was too green. Like how was I to get experience when no one would hire me? Kylie took a chance on me and I let her down.
I learned a lot throughout my career. I learned from some amazing wrestlers. One of those wrestlers was Sara Cross. Sara was someone who completely took me under her wing in the locker room. She was someone who taught us newcomers well. She showed me what needed to happen. She is the reason I know I can be nice and still be brutal when need be. I was not going to cheat my way to the top. That is why I never wanted to use my powers to help me win. I wanted to earn it all fair and square. I wanted to make sure people remembered me as a wrestler who happened to be a witch not a witch that happened to be a wrestler.
As my career wound down I was so lucky to be able to pay it all forward. I was able to teach others about what I had learned. I wanted to make sure they knew to always bet on themselves. When you think you are down and out you can get by with just your talents and you don’t have to cheat to get your way.”
The fans cheer and give Samantha a standing ovation. She relishes in the moment as she shoots up in her bed. It was all a dream. Now was the time for her to grab the bull by the horns. She was going to be a role model one way or another. She heads downstairs to her cauldron and begins mixing stuff together. Katarina’s voice is heard. “What ya doing cuzzo?”
Samantha drops her head as she dips a small golden statue in the liquid within the walls of the cauldron. The statue is the same one she had given Nattie in her dream. She smiles as she looks down at it. “I am preparing myself for my future. I am preparing myself for the end of my career.”
Katarina smirks as she shakes her head. “You are only twenty three cuz. You are not going to retire anytime soon. Why rushing for this?”
Samantha looks up as she could hear the rain pounding on her roof. She laughs as she speaks again. “It may not end soon but when it does I am going to be a role model for the new generation. I am done being left for dead in this business. I am done being nothing more than a throw away on the card. It is time for me to exude the behavior of a warrior. I am going to begin by saying this. Katarina, you have overstayed your welcome. Get out.”
Katarina looks stunned as she shakes her head. “But, I am your favorite cousin. I am someone you need.”
Samantha raises a finger to Katarina’s lips. “No. The only person I truly need is myself. I need you to realize that no matter what you do I will be the one who succeeds in the end. I am the one who will be honored and revered. You will be forgotten and I will be praised. I want girls and women everywhere to know that this isn’t just a man’s sport anymore. It is more than that now. The women can be world champions now and I will be one in the near future. I will be someone to be celebrated and I will stop at nothing until that happens.”
Katarina claps slowly. “You have learned. You have completely learned what I was here to teach you. You can do this Samantha. Everything in our lives and in this business are lessons. We have to react to these lessons if we want to come out on top. You are no longer in need of my presence.”
Samantha looks down and shakes her head. “What are you talking about?
Katarina smirks and hugs Samantha. “I was sent as a lesson for you to learn by your Goddess. You are on your road to big things Samantha. You are someone who will be remembered, as you should be. I never forgot you, Samantha. I never forgot how when we were little I always envied you. I always wanted to be you. You had all the attention. You had everything it took to be a star from an early age. You are someone that will make us proud Samantha. Good bye cuzzo. You are going to do great things.”
Samantha begins wondering if her dreams and this moment were all connected. She sits down and begins replaying it all in her head. She sees the pattern. It was all set up to be a top tier reminder of how awesome she truly was. She nods her head and goes to speak to Katarina but Katarina is gone. Samantha stands up and walks upstairs. She looks at her phone.
“Twenty Six Unread Messages”
Honestly she hasn’t answered her calls or texts in weeks. She looks at the name on the phone.
“Ann”
It was all becoming clear. They weren’t dreams. They were visions of the future. She knew exactly what she had to do and it all began with winning the World Series of Wrestling. It was time to make believers out of the world. It was time to make a believer out of herself. She paces around her living room for a bit as she picks up the phone. She sends this text.
“Hello Mother”
Samantha Voxx was quickly becoming a household names. Maybe now was the time for reacquainting herself with those from her past. She has waited too long to reconnect with some people. She didn’t want to end up like Chelsea Skye who cut her parents out of her life. She didn’t want to miss out on getting to know her father before he passes. She didn’t want to risk not having love in her life. She needs supporters now more than ever before in her life. She is anxious to get the new chapter of her life going. She is ready to make people look up to her instead of fearing her like Harvey Marx did. She is ready to show those who are envious that they too can do this very well. It was time to be a role model. It all begins now.
