There is a star-studded opening to the show, focusing on the unique aspect of Trifecta In Paradise: every single match of the night will be booked under Triple Threat Rules. We see a combination of various wrestlers facing off in different feds, leading up to the confrontations tonight. It’s sure to be a war, especially in the main event, as the World Heavyweight Title gets decided between Raion Kido, Joe Montuori, and Peter Vaughn.
Our announcers for tonight are “Chronic” Chris Page and Cholo, two unique voices in the world of wrestling. Clearly, Page will be favoring the CCPE members, while Cholo will be all about having a good time. We're in the Blaisdell Center with a sold-out crowd of 9,134. There are also millions watching around the world on the GCWA Network, restored for one day only. Ad revenue is going to be through the roof!
Vhodka Black v. Selena Frost v. Zara Ivory, Aerial Achievement Match for the Cruiserweight Championship: The night starts off with undoubtedly the fastest contest of the night. Black, Frost, and Ivory each have to put their high-flying skills on the line for a championship. Special triggers have been included on all four turnbuckles, with lights that will shine for each competitor when they perform a high-risk maneuver. The only way to enable pins or submissions for a wrestler will be to take off from all four turnbuckles. This may sound simple, but special judge Larry Tact will be in charge of deciding if a move ‘counts’ as high-risk or not, which could put at least one competitor at a disadvantage.
We cut to the back, where Raion Kido is being interviewed by Vickie Saldado. He talks about the honor of being placed in the main event, and how he’ll be fighting for the glory of Saint Seiya. Kido is interrupted, though, by the surprise appearance of Fred Debonair, who doesn’t seem impressed by Kido’s comments. Kido tells Debonair not to feel bad about being an alternate, and says that he’ll get his opportunity given to him soon enough. That’s when Kido hears a voice behind him saying “Sometimes an opportunity isn’t given; it’s taken.” Kido spins around, but too late, as both Peter Vaughn and J-Mont attack, whaling away on Kido with kendo sticks!! Debonair joins in, with the three men working together to get a wounded Kido up, powerbombing him through a nearby table!! Kido is left on the ground, clutching at his side, as the three men walk off, their job completed.
We return from commercial to find Kido being lifted onto a stretcher, as the General Manager, Jonathan Barrows, comes down to check on him. He asks the medic if Kido will be able to wrestle, but they’re intent on taking him to the hospital. They load Kido into the ambulance and head off, leaving Barrows fuming, as his main event has been completely disrupted. He gets on his cell phone, making some calls, as we go to a special feed in a nearby bar.
Dionysus v. Shawn Warstein v. Lex Collins, Miller Time Pub Brawl for the DieHard Championship: This one is pure chaos straight from the get-go, as Warstein quickly gets on Dionysus’ bad side by throwing a drink in his face. The two men go at it, with Collins taking a few minutes to finish his drink & give the bartender a large tip before finally smashing his empty glass into the back of Warstein’s head. The violence just went up from there, as each man tried to find a way to get a pinfall in the crowded establishment, using whatever weapons they could find, as special referee Bam Miller counted whenever necessary.
After the match ends, all three men are worse for wear. But when Mac Bane shows up and offers to buy the next round of drinks, the wrestlers (and Bam) opt to stick around for a little bit longer, even as the potential for more violence still exists.
After the break, we find “Venom” Xavier Lux roaming through the back halls, warming up for his big match later tonight. He runs into “The Beast” John Cable, who seems to be in a particularly annoyed mood at the moment. The two men jaw at each other, looking ready to throw down immediately, when “The Comedian” Allen Chaney interrupts them with a few jokes about what he’s found unique in the state of Hawaii. Both Lux and Cable stare at Chaney for a moment, then both turn and walk in opposite directions, with Chaney wondering if they’ve lost their sense of humor on the beach somewhere.
Sarah Wolf v. Candice Wolf-Page vs. Krystal Wolfe, Who Howls The Loudest? - Ultimate Submission match: In a special contest that had GM Jonathan Barrows bringing back Krystal Wolfe just for this contest, the three wrestlers face off in a thirty-minute Iron Woman contest where the submissions are tracked. Once a submission is used, it cannot be repeated. With no disqualifications and no countouts, the wrestlers are allowed to be ‘creative’ in their submissions. The most in 30 minutes wins, with a 10-minute sudden death option available if the scores are tied… or if nobody has submitted yet. It doesn’t help that Samantha Voxx is working as the judge, jury, & executioner, as her submission finisher could also play a part in the proceedings.
Jonathan Barrows is shown in the back, speaking on his cell phone to someone. He’s forced to hang up when Debonair, J-Mont, and Vaughn approach, surrounding him. Debonair mentions to Barrows that he appears to be short one wrestler in the main event, and Debonair knows a perfect substitute: himself. Barrows asks if Debonair really wants to see three heels fighting for the title, with Vaughn stating that it will be a hell of a contest with their talent, and Vaughn, for his part, won’t be holding back at all. This seems to anger J-Mont, with the two men glaring at each other before walking off. Debonair shrugs his shoulders and again tells Barrows that he’s low on options before leaving.
We reach the intermission portion of the event, which features a surprise performance by one of the greatest lovers of Paradise, Jimmy Buffett. He puts on a fabulous show, covering “Cheeseburger In Paradise” and “Margaritaville”, bringing plenty of smiles to the crowd in attendance. The legend can still sing.
The cameras roam the audience, showing us a few celebrities in attendance. This includes “Aquaman” Jason Momoa, martial artist Mark Decascos, and wrestlers Austin Ramsey and Todrick Tabor-Ramsey. All appear to be enjoying the show immensely, as you would expect.
John Cable v. Allen Chaney v. Xavier Lux, Trap-Door Steel Cage match for the Eurocontinental Championship: During the intermission and the concert, the steel cage was set up around the ring with a special feature. Sealed on all sides except the doorway, the cage has two trap doors built into the roof. The only way to win this bloody contest and the new title is to find a way to incapacitate both opponents and trigger the trap door escape, making your way out. First wrestler to have their feet touch the floor wins.
As the work begins on dissembling the steel cage, we see Jonathan Barrows in the back, continuing to work the phones. He looks relieved at what he’s hearing, telling the person on the other end that he’s glad the man will be on his way to the arena. Barrows hangs up, smiling, before walking down the hall.
During the intros of the next wrestlers, Molly Hatchet stopped to greet a younger girl in a wheelchair, taking the time to snap some selfies with her. She then gets up to head to the ring, but an annoyed Regan Voorhees then attacks her from behind, hating the delay. The two women brawl towards the ring, as Amber Bane-Ryan forgoes her own entrance in order to join in. The three wrestlers brawl all around the ringside area, using some items lovingly given by the fans, before finally ending up in the ring so that special referee Memphis Belle can finally signal for the contest to officially ‘begin’.
Molly Hatchet v. Regan Voorhees vs. Amber Bane-Ryan, Queen of the DDT match: This one is strictly for bragging rights, as Hatchet pits her Ginger Ninja Death Drop (Satellite DDT) against Voorhees’ Abattoir (Hammerlock DDT) and Bane-Ryan’s Original Sin (Double Underhook Kick-Out DDT). You can’t make a pin without landing a DDT, so there will be a lot of similar variety taking place all around the ring, especially since the brawl started so early. Expect some DDTs on top of chairs and other instruments of destruction as the three fight for the namesake of Queen of the DDT.
We get a video cut of Joe Montuori and Peter Vaughn getting ready on separate sides of the arena. J-Mont is prepping in front of a merchandise stand, shoving someone aside who’s trying to buy a Kelly Penzkee-Nelson t-shirt. Vaughn appears to be in a maintenance closet, ‘shopping’ for supplies. Below the cut screen, we see shots of Fred Debonair warming up in his suite, while Jonathan Barrows is waiting in the arena garage as a vehicle pulls up.
Fred Debonair, Joe Montuori, and Peter Vaughn all come to the ring, ready to fight for the top title. Instead, though, Jonathan Barrows comes out and talks about how he never approved Debonair being in this contest. He then orders security to take Debonair out of the arena, despite Debonair’s protests. J-Mont and Vaughn watch him go, not that concerned. They’re just ready to go at it. Barrows tells them, however, that this match still has to be a Triple Threat…
And the music for “The Bull of the North” Buster Gloves hits! The crowd goes wild, as both J-Mont and Vaughn look unhappy to see Gloves making his way out. Gloves gets on the mic, talking about how Vaughn is always looking to take the cheap way out, but tonight, it’s not going to pay off. He says that he’d be more than happy to come down and wipe their smirks off their faces, taking the open spot… but he’s going to settle for being the special ring enforcer instead, because “Guess who just got back from the hospital?” Raion Kido’s music hits, bringing the crowd to its feet, and shocking both J-Mont and Vaughn. Kido comes out, his ribs wrapped, and immediately storms to the ring, ready to unleash all his power on the two men.
Raion Kido vs. Joe Montuori vs. Peter Vaughn, Stairway To Heaven World Heavyweight Championship match: A series of platforms have been positioned around the ring, forming a basic “stairway” moving further and further up. In a few spots, ladders are connecting the platforms, requiring the wrestlers to climb up to great heights where the World Heavyweight Title is located high above the ring. If a wrestler falls, it could be a long way down, and they would have to find a way to peel themselves off the floor and climb up once again. The platforms are large enough for several wrestlers to be on them, allowing for maneuvers to take place, but each wrestler will be risking their careers in order to win the top championship in the federation. With Kido seemingly outnumbered and still injured, will he be able to find a way to make the holy climb to the very top?
